“I was assaulted by my husband while I was pregnant” Woman shares

Daisy a 36 year old from Nairobi shared her story on how her husband who they had been in marriage for two years had been assaulting him. At one time she recalls her husband assaulting her while she was seven months pregnant.
At that particular time she even had a feeling that their unborn child would die. She needed peace of mind to ensure that the child was safe. He husband was such a ruthless man who feared nothing as he would raise his hands and beat her up.
“He was a hot tempered man. He never had a second thought each time he made his decisions. He always thought that assault was the always the effective way to deliver a message home. It seemed his way of ending his stress was through assaulting me. It was like he was always happy when he assaulted me,” she said.
She was tired of living like a punching bag in her marriage. She always prayed that one day her husband would change and be a man who always embraced his wife with love and affection but this seemed as a impossibility.
