“Njooni Mtwapa Mujionee Usherati” Woman Narrates How She Rescued Daughter From Prostitution And Addiction to Drugs
Njoki, a 36-year-old woman couldn’t hold back her tears as she narrated how her 18-year-old teenage daughter fell victim to the wild lifestyle of Mtwapa town at the Coast. Njoki says, as a parent, it hurt her a lot when she took her daughter for counselling, only for the guy to take advantage and sleep with her in his office. Several other efforts to make her better have since backfired. As soon as the withdrawal symptoms come, Maria backslides and goes back to drugs. Theirs is a cat and mouse chase, with the effects of leaving her exhausted.
