A heartbroken man from Kisumu ndogo, Raymond Ombima, has narrated how his wife left him with nothing after the failure of their business. A 31-year-old man and a father of two claimed that he once caught his wife cheating on him but he chose to forgive her. “One day I returned home from work came back home and found an empty house. She had carried everything including my clothes,” he said amid tears. Raymond said he and his wife had a very beautiful married when they first got together.
The two have two kids a boy and a girl and he said they were extremely doing well befored COVID struck. However, the effects of the global pandemic crippled all businesses and therefore put a strain on their marriage too. “I remember one day I asked her if she had weighed the meat that was delivered by the supplier to confirm if we were paying for the amount ordered. She got so upset and attacked me with a knife. She cut my hand and I I forgave her.Things continued to get worse especially because he had to travel oftenly out of town to look for a job. He did this to ensure that he would be in a position to provide for his family.
Raymond also painfully recalled how he had come earlier than expected from work only to find his wife in bed with another man. He could not believe it when he saw them on his bed it hurt him so badly. But he forgave her because he knew his children would suffer if they separated. The couple continued to live together since she promised to stop her philandering ways. However, to his shock, Raymond returned from work one day and found an empty house with absolutely nothing. “I don’t know what I did to undergo all these, it’s very painful and I cannot stop thinking about my children. I don’t want them to grow up without me, he said amid tears rolling down his cheeks. Despite all that, Raymond confessed that he still love his wife.He thought of where he could get help so that his wife and children could get back home.
