From Monday to Saturday, Donald would use his homemade paste to fix the blemishes. He was earning Kshs 2500 per day from donations, all from vehicles that used the popular road artery. According to Donald, he used the money he got from donations to support his wife and their one kid. Local taxi drivers said Donald’s work saved them plenty of money by not having constantly repair their vehicles which were often worn out by potholes since efforts helped a lot. He continued for quite sometimes until the whole road was in a good condition. He went ahead being unemployed after the end of the work he was working. All the money he acquired from donations were almost over, he had had been left with few cash.
