A Kisumu based supermarket where so far 15 robbers have been found glued together, the shop owner breaks the silence on this rare technique that has tamed crime

A popular supermarket in Kisumu has really been on the news recently. It’s located along the famous Oginga Odinga streets. It is always full of plenty of customers seen doing their shopping for various commodities. The shop, which is owned by a Kenyan-hindu businessman, is said to be one of the best in Kisumu city. A month ago, three men were found helplessly glued outside the supermarket after their failed stealing mission.

Earlier this week, three more men who were armed and even came with a vehicle to load were found stuck and glued together in the shop’s parking. The shop guards were the first to witness this flask at 6am when they were reporting for duty.

The three men seemed to be experienced gangsters as they had guns, master keys and even a small truck(canter) ready for destruction, little did they know what awaited them. The bizarre incident really attracted a huge number of people who were on their way to work.

The shop owner, Mr. Khan (not his real name) says he sorted the services of Dr. Mugwenu before settling in the business as he knew such challenges would prevail in the area. He said he was ready to forgive the men, but after they paid a hefty fine of sh 80,000 each or a sum of sh 200,000 altogether.
