Poor Girl from Kakamega now living good life in Muthaiga Nairobi
My story reads like a script borrowed straight from one of the Holly Wood movies but,
true, this happened to me when I was at my worst state.
I never stepped in form four because my dad and my mam did not have school fees to
pay for my education despite the fact that I am a bright girl who scored 445 marks in my
Kenya Certificate of Primary Education KCPE examinations.
Okay, let me first tell you my name. I am Mercy now 23 years old and who comes from
humble background in Kakamega County. I traveled to Nairobi to look for something to
do when life at home was unbearable. I also wanted to start supporting my poor family.
I then joined my cousin who lives with his wife in Buru Buru Nairobi City.
They welcomed me well and we have been living so well. They are good people and I am
grateful because they have been taking care of me and praying that I get a job to start
supporting my family back at home.
One evening, the couple called me on the table and started advising me on many things
including how I can make my life shine. They gave me wise counsel for 4 hours. It was a
good talk and I loved it.
