Last year has remained a dark and the worst year in the entire life of Mr. Dean Omanyo, a 31-year-old man from Busia County. According to Dean, he started showing signs that resembled the ones for cancer where he had to go for screening which further revealed that he had cancer that was in its advanced stages and he was to be hospitalized for a while until he shows recovery conditions.
Dean says that his life was in danger when he overheard one of the doctors tell another doctor that it was hard for him to survive cancer as most of people had died during that stage. “I pretended to be asleep when I overheard the doctor telling his colleague that I could not survive and what they were doing was just trying to rescue me but in the long run I would die,” Dean tearfully said.
