On Monday 27th, goons stormed Kenyatta family’s land along the Eastern bypass and destroyed property of unknown value. Trees were cut, livestock stolen and later the premises was set on fire. This happened amidst Azimio demonstrations that have been called by Raila Odinga.
Also, Raila Odinga’s property, East Africa Spectre based on Industrial area was attacked by goons and some items were destroyed. A CCTV footage from the premises have shown goons stoning the premises where glasses were badly damaged.
Kiharu member of parliament and a close ally of president William Ruto has come out to allege that the destruction of property in these two premises was organized by Azimio leaders.
Speaking during a political interview with one of the TV stations, Nyoro alleged that there was a night meeting that happened on Thursday last week at the home of MP Jared Okello in Karen.
In the meeting, a plan was hatched to destroy the property belonging to Uhuru and Raila and then blame it on government. Nyoro said that this is just one of a series of schemes organized by the Azimio leadership to try and fix the government leaders to ICC.
“They met on Thursday night at Jared Okello’s home and hatched a plan to destroy their own property and blame it on government. I am hundred convinced that the goons who stormed president Uhuru’s property had been sent by the Azimio leadership,” noted Nyoro.
