Interview gone wrong in Nairobi. Hundreds left stranded after a con game

I left Bungoma for Nairobi after I was called to attend a job interview alongside my cousin.

I was very happy and when we arrived at the venue where the interviews were taking place. It was in a hotel, a lady and a woman received us and took us through registration process where we were supposed to part with sh 25000 each for the interview.

We paid and we were given receipts, taken through the interview and asked to return the following day for the next session.

When we came back, we found so many other candidates camping at the hotel door complaining that the guys who had interviewed them were nowhere to be seen. We thought it was a joke but we realized we had also been conned.

The day was long and despite reporting this to the police, nothing was happening and we had to return home empty handed.
