Residents and business persons in Gikomba market were treated to a drama after a man broke wept on top of his voice, reason being his ksh 23, 000 had gone in vain. As he said he had arranged a date with a lady and he agreed to send her ksh23k. He waited in Machakos bus station and his guest was not arriving. Maybe there was a lot of traffic as a norm here in Nairobi but after waiting for more than six hours, the lady was not turning up.

He even tried calling her several times but the lady had switched off her phone. He lost hope in everything and this was when he started screaming. Some people seemed less concerned while others just laughed as the incident seemed like a live movie. He said that he had well prepared for her and her decision to turn away from the date had indeed heartbroken him.

“Imagine nmefanya kazi mwezi moja nikasave alafu MTU anakuja anakula yote. Walahi pesa yangu lazima irudi ikiwa double,” he said as he seemed making a call.
