A man by the name Dennis Mwiti a public officer at unmentioned County in Mt Kenya region shared a message on how everyone in their department was always committed, determined and hard working employees with no job promotions. As he narrated, he had been working at that County office for 8 years down the line but all his job promotion requests were being turned down. He wondered what his seniors had been considering before giving a job promotion and if it was merit and hars work then he was perfect.

He says it reached to a point he took matters by force. He confronted the county for not promoting him despite having worked for them for 8 good years. All the frustrations came as a result of his promotion offers being turned down.

“I asked for the better job opportunities,” Mwiti said. “I didn’t wait to get sort-of tapped on the shoulder or selected or picked. I told people the job I wanted to have or the promotion I wanted to have and then I asked what I needed to do to get it, and then I did those things but everything was turned down.”
