Every parent wished the best to their children marriages. This was my wish after my daughter and my first born daughter got married to James. The first year their marriage was good and they even got their first child which was a blessing to the entire family. After sometimes my daughter would frequently visit and I wondered which problem caused her frequent visits. This was because her husband head been to alcohol something that she said he would even forget her duties at home. He became irresponsible as he even did not meet her basic needs. At some point he would subject her to some domestic violence which really lowered her morale of living in the marriage.
She was so much stressed and as her mother I was much worried as at times I wondered what would happen to my daughter as her husband would even subject her to beating after he got drunk. Each time I would wish her well and hoped for the best but that did not change anything as still she complained of her husband taking a lot of alcohol to the extent of forgetting his roles in the house. As her daughter said, he would go take alcohol and sleep in the streets. Each time it was her duty to go and look for him in the streets corridors something that she says really risked their lives.
Most of the times he got sick due to cold. This was because he would spend even the whole night taking alcohol and lying outside the house with no appropriate clothing. After sometimes he was declared to have liver cirrhosis and alcoholic disease that was caused with excess alcohol consumption. Things were really tough as due to his drinking habit, he was even risking his job as most of the time he was on the verge of being dismissed from his job. She tried to talk to him on ways he would do to stop the addiction but nothing was changing at any time. Even after doctors declared him of having liver cirrhosis, still he drugged his feat to the alcohol dens. After sometimes as the mother in law I decided to try and rescue my son in law since I wanted a better life of him and my daughter.
