My name is Wilson Gathigi , a former resident of Embakasi. Before I reformed, my life was full of drama, more or less in the format of John Kiriamiti. The owner spotted one of our gang doing the usual feasibility study and alerted the police. When we got there, we were ambushed with gunshots!!! I’ve never been more scared my entire life. I escaped by a whisker, took off screaming after witnessing Kamau being shot in cold blood. I took all the money I had saved at our hideout and left for Nyeri immediately. I saw on the news what happened to the rest of my gang, two dead, one arrested.
I was a wanted man. With everywhere to run but nowhere to hide. I needed to go AWOL. Underground.
