MENTAL ILLNESS HAD DRIVEN ME INTO BEING A GAY, CLEANSING RITUALS FROM THIS MAN HAD A SOLUTION
My name is Wilson from Mombasa Kenya I had been a gay for the last 8 years. We never lived together with my gay partner but frequently we met especially during the weekends at my place for some love issues. According to my opinion being gay is what really gave me happiness in my life. I saw this as any other relationship just like the other man-woman relationship. We would have sex together and other forms of romance together. At times my gay lover would buy me gifts such like a man would by his female friend gifts to express his love and affection to them at any moment.
This is what really made me happy. We would call each other sweet names like honey, beb, boo and the rest. Some people will wonder how we had sex but most of the times we had oral sex and anal sex depending on who was to be subjected at any particular time. Gay life had really taken almost half part of my life and really I did not feel like leaving it behind. People really did not know I was gay. Many were the times my relatives asked me to show them my lover or fiancé who I was to marry for time was really going. There were so many anti-gay activisms but to me I saw anyone who castigated gay practices was inhuman for we had rights and privileges to enjoy our freedom.
As time went by, I started having some mental health issues. At times I would wonder which world I was really living in. I never had the time to associate with my friends and my relatives. This really affected my work and each activity I did in my life to earn a living. At times my boss would see I was not concentrating in my work for gay had really affected my mental health. I frequent visited various psychiatrists in town but none gave me a solution. Time was really going and I had been completely affected. I wanted to quit the habit and live the right way. Since I was an addict in gay practices it was really difficult to quit.
Through a friend I was taken to Dr Mugwenu who helped me with some herbal medication and counseling to help me quit the practice. He subjected me to herbal diagnosis just like the medical doctors do.
