Kaimenyi cursed his ancestors, once more after Caterina said no, again. She had previously given him a negative response when he asked her out. Over the past month, his incessant efforts at finding himself a partner have hit a brick wall.

Every counter attack has so far been thwarted and that has left him depending on duvets and arimis for comfort. All he sees when he looks around are couples holding hands, but somehow his rough hands are yet to feel the warm softness he so much craved.
