Kipyegon had struggled a lot in preventing hungry Neighbors from stealing his maize before he harvested. He would target 100 bags of maize and end up harvesting 32 bags only which left him asking many unanswered questions. Kipyegon was popularly known as a rich person in the neighborhood and people would take advantage and went to rob his farm. If five consecutive harvesting seasons Kipyegon would reap more loses than profits.
He struggled to at least capture even one thief that would serve as an example in order to discourage this unethical habit that was circulating around the village. Last month his farm was raided and he encountered a loss totaling to around Ksh 300,000. He tried to beg the neighbors to stop robbing his farm but that would fall on deaf ears.
Last week drama was witnessed outside his farm after Kirui could not move any part of his body despite many attempts to run from the operation he had been running the whole night. He had stuck.
