It turned drama as suspected burglar with his friend remained stuck on counter grills of an M-Pesa shop in Nairobi after attempting to force their way into the shop.

In a brief video shared widely on social media, the two men screaming in anguish as shoppers looked on from a distance. They were armed with AK 47 fully loaded and ready to kill anyone who attempted to stop them from robbing.

The two men then went into an M-Pesa shop, brandished a huge gun to scare the girl who was working there and; shortly started demanding any remaining coin from the sales.

“Haraka leta pesa. Iko wapi? Toa yote ama tukuuwe na hii bunduki,” they threatened the little girl as they emptied the drawers one after another

However, their drama was cut short when they were leaving. They remained stuck on the grills at the counter of the shop.

The owner of the shop – mother of three – arrived and started laughing from a distance before she called a traditional doctor who came after about three hours to separate the thieves from the metal bars at the counter.
