[Video] Angry Mob Beats a Man For Beating His Wife in Public at Thika Town

Angry mob has decided to save a woman by name Jane Njambi a Mutumba seller inside Thika stage after defensiveless being beaten by his husband as the public watch, as new details emerge.

Speaking after the incident which has seen Mugendi Mutembei suffer injuries for recklessly beating his wife, among witnesses have informed that Mugendi who lives in an estate near Thika stage has been used to beating his wife and that it was not the first time he abused her.

Njambi has said that “he beats me almost everyday. Anakuja amelewa na kuanza kunichapa. He meets me when am busy selling Mutumba to raise the standard of our children but since he is envious, ge starts beating me with nothing wrong have done.”

The public has said that that is the reason why they did beat Mugendi and that its not for the first time they have seen him do so.

“Huyu Mzee amezoea” one of the mob members a Matatu driver has said.

However, Mugendi has tried to defend himself swearing that he will never beat his wife again saying.

“He has been pushing with other men out here pretending that she is selling Mutumba. Kumbe kazi yake ni kutega wanaume,” Mugendi has claimed.

Adding that “Lakini sitawai mchapa tena. I am sorry.”

Putting Mr Mugendi in a counselling the public has informed Mr Mugendi that “the era of beating ladies like animals ended long time ago.”
