Mophat a 43-year-old high school teacher, shares how he would even drink his sh 70,000 salary in a day without knowing how his family of three would survive. “I actually did not remember the last time I paid our house rent or even paid a single penny for my kids’ school fee. My wife would sort everything. She would always bear all the cost. At times, I would even lend her some fare money because my drinking vice did not allow me to even have sh 50 in my pocket,” he says.

Every time they talked about this issue with his wife, he would always promise to abandon the habit, but after he just received a bank notification, walking to a bar was his destination always. A month ago, Mophat says through the help of his wife, he was helped get out of this serious problem as even his career was nearly doming to an end due to multiple warnings.
