When people go missing or become separated from their families it can have devastating and long-lasting effects on those left behind, who usually endure great suffering until they learn of their loved one’s fate and whereabouts – if, indeed, they ever do.
In addition to having lost a relative, these families generally experience, or have experienced, other traumatizing events, such as displacement, threats to their lives and physical violence, or they have witnessed events of this kind.
For 2 years, Murutu’s family a resident of Kabuchai Bungoma County had been looking for their daughter who disappeared from home under weird circumstances. They just woke up and found she was nowhere to be seen. They began the process of searching her but it wasn’t successful. Two years down the line they never heard from her or her whereabouts.
They even filled a police report of a missing person but still they never succeeded in locating her. After all their efforts were in vain, as a family they agreed to bury a banana tree according to their cultural norms and principles.
Early this year Mr. Murutu the dad to the missing daughter says he got informed by his friend that there was a herbal man based in Majengo Town, Vihiga County who would help him locate and track down her missing daughter. He met Dr Mugwenu who offered him missing person spells.
24 hours after having met Dr Mugwenu, their loved one resurfaced. At first he says they could not believe their eyes. Some of the family members thought she had passed away.
