Kipyegon had struggled a lot in preventing hungry Neighbors from stealing his maize before he harvested. He would target 100 bags of maize and end up harvesting 32 bags only which left him asking many unanswered questions. Kipyegon was popularly known as a rich person in the neighborhood and people would take advantage and went to rob his farm. If five consecutive harvesting seasons Kipyegon would reap more loses than profits. He struggled to at least capture even one thief that would serve as an example in order to discourage this unethical habit that was circulating around the village. Last month his farm was raided and he encountered a loss totaling to around Ksh 300,000. He tried to beg the neighbors to stop robbing his farm but that would fall on deaf ears.

Last week drama was witnessed outside his farm after Kirui could not move any part of his body despite many attempts to run from the operation he had been running the whole night. He had stuck. It was so shameful since he was a priest’s son and one could ever imagine him in a theft scandal. Kirui was one of the people who would steal from Kipyegon’s farm leaving Kipyegon crying for months. That day wasn’t his normal day at his office since he was busted red handed stuck in the farm with several sacks that he had come with to use in carrying the maize. His motorcycle was parked few meters away from the farm. He would use it to transport the stolen maize this making his operation more easy and time saving to avoid being caught.

The neighbors started crowding one by one and within few minutes they were there in huge numbers and had to give Kirui a thorough beating. Despite them beating him he was still stuck and couldn’t move any single part of his body. He was standing still and was not talking.

Upon the arrival of his wife who was still sleeping, she had to contact Kipyegon and inquire what had to be done for Kirui to be unstuck. She called Kipyegon who didn’t have any rush to help them since the protection spells that had been previously casted by a native doctor from Vihiga called Dr Mugwenu who Kipyegon had asked for protection of his wealth was working according to how it was supposed to. Kipyegon demanded a hefty fine of ksh 90 thousand for him to consult Dr Mugwenu to reverse his spells since it was believed that it was a lesson. After Kirui’s family paid a fine to Dr Mugwenu he was able to reverse his spells and Kirui was unstuck and promised to never repeat such habits. Dr Mugwenu made a statement by his powerful spells that he had the most powerful protection spells.
