An emotional story of a Kenyan graduate who had lost all means of securing a job

In Kenya today getting a job requires one to really tussle all forms of barricades like bribing top people in offices and to some shocking incidences ladies at times they are forced to have sex in return of jobs. To Thomas, getting a job was like an impossible dream to him. He had graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Economics from the University of Nairobi but getting a job was now a difficult task. He said he had traversed al offices trying to get even a job that would not suit his qualifications but all the times thing shad been ending in premium tears.

“To every office I went, I would have a successful interview something that made me believe that my journey to employment was underway but that was not the case. He said he recalled that day he was had to do some dirty manual jobs like unblocking a sewer system, something he says he felt demeaned but he had no option as that was the only way he was going to get money. He said his certificate was just a form of decoration in his life as it had no meaning as he had completely lost hope in getting a job.
