I was the poorest in our family of eight. Everybody in our family never wanted to respect nor hear anything I spoke. I was always embarrassed infront of my own family members.

Anytime there was a family meeting, I would not be given a chance to address and when I rose to speak a serious concern, my uncles would brash it off as nonsense. It was very painful being raised in family that do not treat me well just because I was the poorest. Poverty is not a good thing anyway!

This life went on until even my small sisters could not respect me despite me having respect for them. They had been incited to hate me because of my status in the society. It was painful. The only person who treated me well was my mother. She loved me the way I was until her death when I remained alone. I learnt to live with them that way until when I got a friend in Nairobi who offered to give me some brief refuge. I then fled home and went to the city. I lived with Dennis for six months without a job. I was becoming a burden to him but he didn’t complain.

One evening while I was strolling around the market in Kangemi Nairobi, I came across a poster about a traditional doctor by the name of Mugwenu. The paper which was stuck on an electricity pole was advertising the services of the herbal medicine man – he could spin work, court cases and promotions. He was a spell caster. I picked the contacts and called instantly. Luckily, he picked my call and I asked for a favour – I wanted a job.

The doctor asked me to visit him in his office and the following day I asked my friend to give me some fare. I did not disclose to him where I was going. So I went to meet the Native doctor. He cast a wealth spell for me and asked me to go back home. Believe it or not, just after two days, I met my luck. I was just sited in the cyber doing Facebook when I saw an advert of a job opening. I applied online and it did not take even four days t5o be invited for an interview. Immediately after sitting the interview, I was hired as the best person for that job. I trained on job and was employed on a salary of sh 50,000 per month. Ooh nice!

As we speak now, my family which had despised me is now calling everyday asking for forgiveness. Thank you Mugwenu Doctors.
