Matilda sat on the couch, waiting. Waiting for her phone to ring. Part of her wished it wouldn’t, cause if Moses calls, then it’s a confirmation that indeed her husband is involved in an extra marital affair with his secretary Mwende. Rumors of them going to Mombasa for a trip to celebrate her pregnancy were ripe more than a month ago. Since then, she has conducted her investigation diligently and come to the conclusion that to hammer the last nail and expose their illicit affair, she had to know without a shadow of a doubt.

Mwende has never been so embarrassed and so quiet. She left in a hurry and quit being his secretary the very next day. Moses on the other hand learnt the hard way that cheating is not for everyone. Safe to say, he never cheated on her again.
