A look at Prof. Kalume David will give you a picture of a happy man. He is always jovial, smiling, cracking jokes and writing funny storylines on the notice board. All the lecturers liked him. He taught Agribusiness Technology and doubled as the department head. The happy picture starts to obtain wrinkles as soon as he gets home. His wife, Fatima Gabresellassie, a Kenyan with Ethiopian roots is breathtakingly beautiful and dreadful at the same time. She has assumed control of her homestead years ago and like Museveni, has stood the test of time as head. She does nothing in the house. She does not cook, clean, wash or work. All she does is bark orders to her house help, at her husband of more than 12 years and watch TV. She refused to bear him children, and has been denying him sex for years. So now, he has to make do with a superficial marriage, one where he is a captive of his past.
