My name is Wilson Gathigi , a former resident of Embakasi. Before I reformed, my life was full of drama, more or less in the format of John Kiriamiti. To be brutally frank, I was a thug, gangster even. Things started to change when I was still in high school. I enlisted with bad company, who taught me the trade of snatching things. I escaped by a whisker, took off screaming after witnessing Kamau being shot in cold blood. I took all the money I had saved at our hideout and left for Nyeri immediately. I saw on the news what happened to the rest of my gang, two dead, one arrested.
I was a wanted man. With everywhere to run but nowhere to hide. I needed to go AWOL. Underground.
