A 42-year-old woman from Bondo, Siaya County shocked a lot of people after she shared her emotional story on how she went through hard life just after her husband died. She said they had been in marriage with her husband for ten years and unfortunately he happened to get a fatal accident and he died on the spot. Since then life has been really hard for her. Her in-laws took the advantage that her husband was no more and they started humiliating her as she said. At that particular time when her husband was alive, she says she had a good relationship with her in-laws as they were indeed good people.
“They took all what my husband had left behind. I had no place to live with my two kids. I tried to seek justice from every corner but I was not getting any help. They went to the point of forcing me to get married to my later husband’s elder brother, but I walked out of that homestead without hesitation,” she said.
