Three weeks ago, I received a call from a person who purported that he was from Safaricom. I doubted him at first but he read out my ID number and that made me believe him. He told me he just wanted to confirm whether my M-Mpesa account was secured from all scams. About 20 minutes after our call, I got a message that KSh 200,000 had been transferred to my account. I was so shocked that I almost fainted.
